There’s something about getting away from your life, even for a little while. I think that’s why I love to travel (when I can). You get to see new things other than what you see day after day.

Whether you’re a photographer, painter, musician, writer, whatever, we all just get to a point where we are in a creative rut and feel that everything we do is complete crap.

This is one of my favorite images from the day. It doesn’t have too many things going on and it has a nice symmetry.

Getting out of the city and hiking in nature is one of my favorite things to do.
